Chef Corey Lee, renowned for his three Michelin-starred restaurant Benu in San Francisco, is collaborating with the Korean automobile conglomerate Hyundai to introduce his first Southeast Asian restaurant, Na Oh. Located in the futuristic Hyundai Motor Group Innovation Centre at Lakeside, Na Oh is a farm-to-table establishment that leverages the building’s two-storey vertical smart farm, producing over 30kg of fresh produce daily. Guests can anticipate exquisite hansik dishes that blend traditional Korean cooking techniques with modern flair.
The name “Na Oh,” meaning “moving from inside out” in pure Korean, reflects the restaurant’s mission to share Korean culture and enhance the HMGICS customer experience beyond a conventional automotive production facility. Na Oh aims to provide an approachable culinary journey that represents Korean heritage while being relatable to diners in Singapore. The restaurant’s menu evolves with each season, interpreting traditional cuisine in a contemporary style, thanks to the collaboration with Korea’s master artisans.
Led by Chef Corey Lee, Na Oh promises to offer a high-quality yet accessible Korean dining experience. This new venture marks Lee’s first project in Southeast Asia, enriching the region’s culinary landscape. With a team inspired by Korean traditions and calibrated for the modern palate, Na Oh delivers an authentic and innovative dining experience.
