Fi Woodfire Thai has turned up the heat once more with its move from Robertson Walk to a brand-new home at Shaw Centre, Orchard. Reigniting the Orchard Road dining scene, the restaurant returns with a bold second act—bringing back its signature blend of Thai tradition and woodfire flair. Billed as Singapore’s first woodfire Thai concept, Fi now features an open kitchen anchored by a blazing 450°C lychee wood oven, setting the stage for a dining experience that’s as theatrical as it is flavourful.
Helmed by Chef Arom Eploi, the menu showcases standout creations like the tender “Moo Ping” Pork Rib, flame-charred Sticky Rice Cake, and French Poulet served with a housemade chicken liver jaew. Lighter plates like the Grilled Green Mango Salad and Son-in-Law Eggs with a strawberry tamarind glaze add colour and zest to the table. To complement the spice and smoke, diners can sip on Thai-inspired cocktails such as the Tom Yum Mule or the herbaceous Sabai, and round off the meal with a dessert like the butterfly pea Mango Sticky Rice.
Rooted in a deep love for Thai cuisine, Fi—short for “fai,” meaning “fire” in Thai—is more than just a restaurant. It’s a culinary journey through Bangkok’s vibrant street food culture, elevated by modern techniques and the distinctive flavours imparted by its double-insulated woodfire oven. Combining heritage, heat, and heart, Fi Woodfire Thai delivers a dining experience that’s bold, evocative, and uniquely its own—right in the heart of Singapore.
